My view on this subject is, if you are only doing weekend off roading then the tubeless tires are an advantage, except in rock climbing situations where you might air down to much. If you get a puncture, you either fill your tire with the squirt in "tire sealant" you get in the can or, you get out your tire sealing kit and fit into the puncture a "Tire Turd", reinflate as in the latter case and drive away, or head home. Sure beats trying to change tubes on the trail (assuming you don't have, or are already using your spare). If however, you were contemplating an extended off road adventure, then I would definitely fit tubes and carry a number of spare inner tubes, as well as, a couple of spare tires.
