Hi all: I just bought the 04 discovery se7, after the inspection from dealer, they told me to buy a new undertray, which cost $600 for the parts, I like to now where I could find that part.

Undertray? Never heard of it. Can you describe what you are requiring? May help others help you if it can be described or referred to iusing a different term

on the inspection report, dealer wrote:"missing undertray", when I asked, tek said at the bottom used to block the dirt out, and it cost $67 for labor, $600 for part. I googled, and had no idea whats that? any ideas will be thankful.

Its just a big plastic pan. I've only seen it once before (On My old 04 disco). You don't need it.

...but the one in my 2004 Disco S had a round & removable access plug for changing the oil filter.

I just pulled mine off and tossed it out. You don't need it. It's the least of your worries.

I really appreciate disco guys here, you are very helpful, I worried because dealer told me if I didnt get one, the dust will get inside of the truck, and make everything worse, and I will go to an off road trial this month. wish me luck!
