Hello All,

Can anyone tell me the valve clearances for my truck please. The engine fitted is a 2.5 diesel I`m pretty sure from an LDV / Sherpa van, but I don`t know the vintage. :dunno:

Any info or where to look would be helpful.

It should be 0.010" or 0.25 mm, hot or cold.

Yep- one figure fits all.

Just a hint- if possible try and get a rocker cover gasket with a self-adhesive side that you stick to the rocker cover and then fit the whole thing to the head. I had several goes with a plain cork gasket and could never get the thing to seal properly. A sticky one went on first time, not a lsingle hint of a leak.

:wave: Thanks for the advice - i already have the "leaky" type gasket. Never mind will know for next time. Could be time to get the bostik out???!!! I have done that before with Mini rocker cover gaskets and they sealed a treat!
