Looking for some help with front end vibration. I have a 2001 D2 with 107000 miles. The truck vibrates at 35 mph and above. I replaced the front shaft with a new shaft but still vibrates. I brought the new shaft to a local drive shaft shop to check balance and every thing was good. The truck does not vibrate with driveshaft removed and CDL locked. I now have chirp coming from the driveline? Could this be a bad front output shaft bearing? The flange has some play with shaft removed.

Where did you buy that replacement drive shaft, was it new or used and if used, was the center ball replaced?

The shaft was new from Lucky 8. The original was replaced because the lack of grease fittings and vibration. Now I have a new shaft, balanced checked and chirping? I'm going to pull the shaft and listen for any chirps.

If there is no chirp when the front shaft is not connected then don't waste your time jacking it up, cause you already found the problem.
Have you spoken the Lucky 8 or Tom Woods to get their help?
