The following is what it will take to purchase these '06 LR vehicles in San Jose, CA:

Range Rover Sport (without optional packages) - $60K

LR3 (without upgrades) - $46K

Range Rover (with some bling) - $92K

I hate to admit it, but the LR3 is growing on me. The RRS is PHAT! The RR, well, Ishill drives one... 'nough said.

Afford an RR? Anyway.... I think the best I could hope for, if I were so inclined, would be to sell my D90 and my wife's Disco and then buy the RRS. However, you would not catch me doing something stupid like that.

That was a joke! Hell, I thought that was a perfectly reasonable statement you made. Then again, since you said it was a joke, should I assume you were suggesting that I haven't done well enough financially to afford an RR? :confused

NOOO dude, I mean fixing up a 92k vehicle with all sorts of computers, comforts, and lack of ground clearance on a relatively long wheelbase is a joke! :D

No doubt in my mind that you're in any kind of financial problems.

Ooooohhh, okay. ;)

My response was also a joke, albeit a very poor attempt. I know you're a good-hearted guy, JC. I don't think you've offended one person on this board, unlike some of the rest of us.

:drink1:

it has never crossed my mind that you might swing from the wrong side of the plate, but you know what they say... the first stage of man-love is denial.
