I have the 18" Prolines and only 1 or maybe 2 are in decent condition.

The others are delaminating and the coated is bubbling or chipping off.

Not sure if this was addressed before, anyone have a good idea on what a good approach is to restore them?

There's hubcaphaven and their prices aren't actually bad.

If someone mentions chrome I'll ask the mods to ban you (I'm drinking a beer so take it with a grain of salt...or a shot)

Thanks!

Can you paint them like we do the bundts?

Whoops, thought I was still on the Mercedes forum. There we strip the wheels and then repaint; then coat with clear. I used a product from Pep Boys called Airplane Stripper and rattlecan paint.

Prep the surface and hit it with my personal favorite of Rust-Oleum. Cheap and durable

What's the best way to take that coating off...it's like plastic but not. Or is that the actual thick coat of paint coming off that I'm describing?

TSP?
