Has anyone any experience of creating wheelchair access to the rear of a Defender 90? The idea is to allow the wheelchair passenger to stay in their own wheelchair during travel.

I dont know but i bet there are a heap of engineers that would love the challenge. You can get a power tail gate lifter fitted, thats quite easy and the door opening should be wide enough to roll a wheel chair in so there you go. Let me know if you need a phone number or three ( sydney area) as i said I have heaps of techo mates that would love that one to play with.
hope this helps

I would have thought the headroom in the back of a 90 might not be sufficient for someone in a wheel chair? At the very least, the view will be pretty limited.
I have seen a wheel chair adapted defender in one of the mags in the last couple of years! Try searching for it on google!

Cheers
Geo.
