Looking at buying a 06 LR3 with 70k miles. When driving, there is a whirling noise that seems to start about 10mph and stays constant while moving, with or without the accelerator pressed. Almost sounds like a whirl/whistle type and is most prevalent when Windows are up. I thought it was coming from the roof rails but ruled that out. No metal or grinding, no squeak or vibration. Just this whirling low noise. Definitely tell it is there when driving highway speeds.
Any idea? Could this be something serious? Dealer just replaced tie rods, all wheel level sensors. Definitely sounds like it's coming from the rear driver side from inside vehicle.
Any ideas appreciated!
