i have a whirring noise that lasts approx. 15 seconds after i turn the engine off, it sounds like it's coming from the rear but i can't be sure.........any ideas??

just had another listen, it's coming from the front and it sounds like the fan slowing down to a stop, but I shouldn't be able to hear that should I?:confused

Any more ideas?? like I said I think its coming from the front
