ok, here's another question, since everyone seems perplexed by the speed sensor question. :D

95 disco -- when putting the wipers on intermittent, they go up and stop, then down and stop, then halfway up and stop, etc. if you put them on normal wipe, they work absolutely fine, until you turn them off and they stay in the same spot.

whats up? :confused

maybe just a loose connection, or yer motor or switch is fried potatos. Sounds just like a jeep cj7 i used to have. Never did figure it out tho.

I am sure Mister Disco does have an answer.
And me that was thinking I was the only one having that problem (sound like one of those yellow relay is bad) Very practical here in North America, you could stop them up, clean the ice build up and start them again without damaging the arm or pignion. It make it more difficult for car thief. When they see all those problems they stop the vehicle, jump out, cursing. It is also very easy to find them not far from where you parked them........ with Brit made Landy, not to many people understand them....except....us!!
