I have a 2000 disco that only starts when I:
1. Move the gears from park to drive and back to park
2. Press down firmly in the brake
3. Move the steer wheel around to different positions
4. Turn the key
It started out as happening sometimes and just having to move the steering wheel a little to now happening more times than not and having to move the steering wheel around and back to find the right spot where it will start
Also a few seconds has become up to 15 minutes to start
I'm concerned because I don't want to end up stranded somewhere
I called the dealership who of course thinks that it could be a couple of things but needs me to bring it in to know for sure and charged a lot just to check it out
Any tips or suggestions?
