Hey All,
Great way to end mothers day with the wife and kid....
I've got a 2001 discovery with around 120k on it and it wont start. I try and turn it over and heard a click twice like it wanted to turn and then it just wouldn't make a sound. I just had it towed home and have just begun to dig into it. I was looking for possible problems that it may be. Starter, crank position sensor, battery? Would there be any other issue that would cause this. The rover was running great and the only indication that it may be the battery was a sluggish start this morning. Everything else works in the car, it just wont start. Any advice would be greatly appreciated and if anyone is in the Roswell GA area and want to stop by, I've got beer.
Cheers
Kelly

Start with a dead battery, then check the starter and lastly, which you don't want a hydro locked engine with coolant in a cylinder.
