Do you guys think the wrangler MT/R's (265/75/16) would fit on my stock disco2 2001? Current tires are 255/65/16. I would love to get tires first then a 2" lift later. I can deal with a little rubbing for a while if nessessary.

265's will fit w/ 2". In those pictures I was running 285's w/ 2" but had rear quarters trimmed and front/rear bumpers. Again, front bumper corners might be your only concern. You may rub you radius arms at full turn but it's not problematic. The rear quarters on a DI were a problem w/ 265's on 2" lift off road but I had stock rear bumper w/ no trimming on 265's for a little while & didn't have any problems (with the tires,,,hanging up on obstacles is another matter  ).

Oh, other part of your question: kit or just springs. If you are doing 2" OME there's really no kit: shocks & springs on stock mountings. You could shop around for best price at RTE, SG, Red Rhino, etc. You'll also want the OME steering damper. But you'll have no problems w/ your stock drive shafts, brake lines, etc. If you want to go higher than 2" I would go with some good advice from RTE & get a package deal as you'll need a host of other upgrades.
