First, find out exactly where it is leaking.

Do you have coolant in the oil? or oil in the coolant?
How the spark plugs look?
Is it worse hot or cold?
are all the hoses and frost plugs intact?
Do the hoses get really hard when hot?

 

what sort of strong smell is it? does is smell sweet, like fuel or oild? if you've got drips of coolant on the drive the first place to start is to find the source o f the leak and reamedy it, then move on to the next identifiable issue.

 

sorry to tell you this, but when white clouds come out of the tail pipe, it means water is getting boiled in the cylinder and escaping as steam. in short; blown head gasket. been there.
