Due to a po mistake, I am trying to remove the wheel lugs that are semi-rounded. The 1 1/16 will not fix and the 1 1/8 removed all but one. This one is rounded more that the others and will not grip it. Looking for suggustions before I make things worst and also looking to a good place to pick up replacement lugs. I have tried using the above sizes and a 27mm in a 6-point and 12-point with no luck.

Spray the tin cover with Liquid Wrench, hammer the socket onto the lug nut, the tin covers will form back to the actual lug nut and be 6 sided once more, you will need to make sure your 6 point socket is actually square with the lug nut, then hammer away.
Loosen the lug, take your hammer and pound the socket back off of the lug nut.
Took me 3 hours the first time to do all four wheels.

Not a landrover guy (yet) but if none of the previous suggested options work (which are all better choices) then you can take a new bolt and weld it to the stripped out bolt, grind into the bolt and bevel the edge so you can get a good weld there, make sure to let it get hot enough to weld into the stripped stud. It doesnt have to be pretty it just has to hold. Be sure to let it cool completely before you torque on it though, heating it actually swells the bolt a bit making it very hard to get out when its hot.

Thanks guys for all of the suggustions - I was able to get it off by using the 1 1/6 12-point and Liquid Wrench and a hammer. However, i won the battle, but lost the war... The socket will not let loose of the nut... A small price to pay for a victory lol... I will hit up PT to see if he has some used lug nuts.

Well... I found these while changing the rear pads. Have not inspected the fronts yet. So I know I need at least 5 maybe 10

Mine are rounded on the front as well from the PO of my truck. When i bled my brakes the other night i used a 1-1/16 6pt socket that i hammered over the top with a BFH, came off pretty easy. Only one lug nut didnt want to come out of the socket. I put the socket in a vice in the garage and tapped out the offending lug nut with a drift.

I was going to suggest a very similar method to get the stuck lug nut out. Adjust the jaws of a sturdy vice to a width which will support the socket, but allow the lug nut to drop out once you smack the snot out of it with a good drift and a BFH.
